I am a people bird however I do need to be taught how to be gentle. If you met a previous resident at Meika’s Safehouse named Jimmy Lee, I am quite a bit like him in terms of personality…. I will land on your head or shoulders but I do peck hands and feet sometimes. (My pecking doesn’t hurt nearly as much as getting bit by a hookbill [parrot], but to very sensitive people it could be a bit shocking)

I like to bathe in a pie plate full of water or the sink with running water or even on your head in the shower. I love sunflower seeds, cooked pasta noodles and almost anything I see you eating I like to try. My main diet is pigeon and dove seed, with oyster shell and assorted mixed veggies chopped to pea sized perfection

I will sit with you on your lap to watch tv.

I do require patience and understanding as I am still quite young and learning how to manage my hormones.
