Hello! I’m Chichi

I’m currently in hospice care. I’m 26 years old, living with cataracts in both eyes, and I have difficulty getting around — but I’m safe and surrounded by friends in a large flight cage where I’ll stay as long as it continues to meet my needs.

My early years were very different. I spent a long time in a small round cage and was fed rotisserie chicken and spinach — tasty to me, but not the healthiest start. Thanks to the loving care at Meika’s Safehouse, I now have comfort, proper care, and dignity for the rest of my journey.
