Hello! I’m Daisy

I am a transfer from another agency and I required immediate medical care and intervention. I suffered from a broken wing and have a very high white blood cell count. I am currently on very strong antibiotics and I await my amputation surgery on September 2nd.

My wing amputation went ok, the vet was a little concerned about the way I handled the anesthetic, but in the end I pulled through and am now on the road to recovery. I don’t like being medicated but I am tolerating it. I have to take 5 syringes of medications a day for the next 4, 7 and 21 days.

I am a super sweet and lovely cockatoo. If you want a lap bird, or Velcro bird, consider me because I love very deeply and build strong bonds almost instantaneously.
