Hello! I’m Pistachio

I am a 1 year old conure and I demand respect. You have to earn my trust as I don’t just give that up for free. I can and do step up, but I prefer to be rewarded for that (a safflower seed will do). I can be your best friend if you do not come on strong with me. I am the boss of my own body so please respect that. I will let you pet my head, but until I am comfortable with you, I will only tolerate it for short periods of time. I came into care because my previous guardian’s landlord did not allow birds in the home.
